The “Europe in Discourse” conference will take place in the premises of the Hellenic American College.

Getting to Athens

Airport: Athens International Airport is served by many scheduled international airlines all year and by charter carriers during the summer period.

Getting to/from the Athens International Airport and the city center via:

24-hour express buses: Buses are located at the Athens International Airport Departures Level and depart from the Arrivals Level.

All buses run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with frequency varying according to time and season.

Metro: Take Metro Line 3 (Aghia Marina– Doukissis Plakentias – Airport), connecting Athens airport with the city center. Trains run every 30 minutes, 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The trip from/to the Airport to Athens center is 40 minutes. See the Metro timetable to the airport.

By Car

Note that during most of the year access by car to the city center is restricted (only even-numbered license plates on one day, odd-numbered on the next).

By Metro

Take Metro Line 2 (Elliniko-Anthoupoli) to Panepistimio Station. Please consult the Metro & Tram Network Map

By Bus

The College is also conveniently accessible via any of the bus and trolley lines that stop on Panepistimiou, Akadimias or Stadiou Streets.
